Plot Summary
In the haunting aftermath of Hiroshima, Gen, now a spirited fourth-grader, forages for scraps amidst the ruins. The air hums with echoes of a broken past. As his mother's health wanes under radiation's weight, he finds solace in a band of orphaned souls.
